Fluke has improved their high-perfor-

mance, portable oscilloscopes. They will

upgrade to 190B that replaces the earlier

190-series. They have larger and brighter

LCDs with higher display update rates

and more trigger modes. The price

remains unchanged.

PC-based 1-channel digital memory

oscilloscope that uses the computer’s

monitor as display. All standard oscillo-

scope functions are available through the

enclosed Windows software. The func-

tions are identical compared to ordinary

oscilloscopes but with the difference that

all settings are carried out by use of the

computer’s mouse instead of by the

buttons on the front panel. The PCS500A

is connected using the computer’s

parallel port and is electrically separated

by opto-switches. All wave shapes can be

stored on the hard disk drive of the

computer for documentation or for

analysis later. Supplied with mains

adaptor, PC cable assembly, English

manual and CD with software.
